Quick Start

Inrconnect connects an organization's Jobber or Housecall Pro account to ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible MCP clients.

1. Create an organization

Sign up, complete onboarding, and create or select the organization that will own the provider connection.

Provider credentials, MCP access, tool restrictions, and credit usage are scoped to this organization.

2. Connect a provider

Open Organization > Integrations in the dashboard.

• Jobber uses OAuth.
• Housecall Pro uses an API key.

3. Configure MCP access

Open the provider integration and create or authorize MCP access.

Choose:

• Read-only for search and retrieval tools.
• Read-write when the client also needs enabled create or update tools.

You can disable individual tools for an MCP API key.

4. Add the connection to your client

Use the provider-specific MCP URL and authorization details displayed by Inrconnect. Follow the Housecall Pro and ChatGPT guide or Housecall Pro and Claude guide for a complete example.

5. Test a narrow request

Start by searching for a known customer or client and opening the returned record. Test write actions only after confirming that the connection is scoped to the intended provider account and organization.

Successful tool calls use credits based on the action and are recorded for the organization.
